Comments:

This seat replaced a stock Bacchetta Euromesh. For me, the EM had inadequate lumbar spine support, and caused tail bone discomfort. The POC fixed both of these problems, and gave me a bit more power for climbing and acceleration. Costs less than a stock EM and recurve; but is somewhat heavier. Weight weenies with fat wallets might consider the carbon version.

Great Seat!!! I hate the narrow hard shell seats offered on high end bikes. I feel like I'm sitting on a 2x4 - always about to fall off. This seat feels very secure as it wraps around on both sides. I put one on my CA2.0 a couple of weeks ago and love it.

Bought the carbon version of this seat years ago. After 24,000 miles and trying a couple of other seats, this seat is the best for me. I am no longer looking for any other seat and would instead get another if I buy a second bike. I use a Ventisit comfort pad on it (last 18,000 miles). Love it too.

No Back Pain with the POC CF Seat

I have a Wizwheelz Zoomer trike. With the stock canvas seat (and a cushion that raises my hips about 3 inches to acomodate a lack of flexibility in one hip), I would experience lower back pain on one side at about 10 miles. With the POC carbon fiber seat (simply resting on top of the stock seat and cushion), After 3,500 miles, I have never experienced back pain on rides up to 60 miles. It is a great seat. The only improvement for me would to increase the width an inch or two. I will soon fasten the seat to the trike.

The Power On seat is a fantastic seat. It is much more comfortable then the carbon M-5 replica that came on my CA1 Bacchetta. The lumbar support and added side width add to the comfort. The change in shape also changed the position that the seat resides on the bike but after adjusting and a few test rides the sweet spot was found and great comfortable rides began. I might also add that my average speed went up on my training loop of 27 miles. Comfort will=more speed.

I was skeptical that this seat would be comfortable, as it came with my second hand Trice QNT, but it is amazingly ergonomic and comfortable! I later got to try the stock Trice seat and had to switch back to the Power On seat. I actually found I had more power with this seat, could ride 100Km and never felt the seat as a pain point! I recommend the Ventiseat pad as well. I would buy another one for my next trike. Also Mark is great to do business with and stands behind his products.
