Bacchetta Corsa

Since the Corsa received a face lift in 2005, it has become one of the most sought after performance recumbents on the market. Not only does the Corsa model come with a rigorously tested Aluminum frame, it also comes standard with the evolutionary EuroMesh saddle and a component package that will make your fellow recumbent riders salivate!

Check out the complete component package for the Corsa, ride one for yourself and you'll very quickly see why all of the other Corsa riders on the road have just two words for their recumbent cycling brothers: See ya!

This is my personal favoirite of all the high-racers out there and one I personally ride. The frame is stiff yet forgiving and the responsiveness is excellent.

I love my new Corsa! I bought mine two months ago to help with recovery from a hernia operation. I've got 575 miles on my new bike and find I'm riding 40% longer and 10% faster. I find it a much less painful to ride, no numb fingers, no neck/shoulder pain, and, of course, no seat pain. I don't have to force myself to lookup to see down the road or look over the top of my glasses. I don't find my shins and knees covered with road grime and the chain stays much cleaner. I am doing much better with balance and stability while riding, but I am more conscious of balance and steering. I have to periodically remind myself to relax my arms and shoulders for better balance. I still am careful about starting. I have had my feet slip off the peddles when slowing or stopping with traffic distractions or over bumps. I'm temporarily using toe clips from my road bike. I have had to learn not to move my knees outside the tweener bars for sharp turns and I love the feel of sharp turns at speed and feel less tire slippage than on my road bike. I am also making the adjustment to increase my cadence. I was surprised that I really needed help that Mark of Power-On Cycling of Riverview, FL. gently provided for my first ride, but I felt okay after about 10 minutes riding around the parking lot. My Fuji road bike sits forlornly in the garage.
