Yep, it can be done.  You can build your own recumbent.  It will be an experience you'll never forget.  Nothing like roller coastering through every emotion you can possibly experience. 

Will it save you piles of money?  Not always.  If you buy all the components brand new, you'll find many times you are over budget.  However, if you load up your new creation with above board components, you'll find you can build a bent that no one manufacturer will or can sell you. 

Hopefully, our small selection of parts will help with your struggle.  Please don't hesitate to ask about how to do this or how to weld that.  We too are builders and just might have tripped across that same head scratching problem or we can put you in touch with someone who has.
