Mark, Thought I would send you a photo of my recently finished dual 700c bike. Thank you for all your help. Looking at building a fwd model (similar to zox).

Hi. I thought you might enjoy some homebuilt bike pictures. Both of these bikes use parts (forks, cable, braze-ons, etc) that I bought from Power-on Cycling. They aren't painted yet since we're having to much riding them. The bike with the chrome fork is an old Murray mountain bike frame and Timberline bike components (18 speed). The other bike is a Giant mountain bike frame and components (18 speed). Both bikes use the rear chain stay portion of the donor frame (modified) in conjunction with a large diameter main tube, all mild steel. Both are laid out (wheelbase, bottom bracket height) somewhat like a Bachetta Giro. Wheel base for both is about 43". I hand formed the seat frames from 1/2" conduit. This winter I'll strip them down and paint them. My third bike frame is already on it's wheel. This is to much fun!

Hi mark. This is Doug. Attached is a picture of my home built. This is about number 3 in the line of succession as I tend to refine the design. It has a 26" front, 700c rear 9spd with a 105 crank. The hubs are Chris king on velocity areo head rims, grand prix tires. The seat is my own and is much like a vision seat except mine has moms love sewn into it. I think one day I may break down and buy one of your carbon fiber seats. The bike is 28 pounds without accessories and seems to do better at rough roads and hill climbing than a typical SWB.  It doesn't whip around as good as a 20" front wheel . I hope you enjoy.
